Reverse Your Liver Five-Ingredient Veggie Burger

Servings: 4 Burgers
- 2 cups no-salt-added canned black beans, drained liquid saved
- 1 medium onion, quartered
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 tsp Frontier Co-Op Chili Powder
- sea salt and black pepper to taste
- 8 leaves romaine or butter lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato, sliced
Combine beans, onion, oats, chili powder and lime juice in a food processor.
Process the mixtrue until chuncky.
If the mixture doesn't stick together, add saved bean liquid. It should be moist but not wet.
Wet hands and mould the mixture into patties that are approximately 3½ inches.
In a nonstick skillet, cook burgers on medium-high heat until they are lightly browned and cooked.
Serve with letttuce leaves as the bun, and add tomato slices
