Reverse Your Fatty Liver Smokey Sweet Beans & Tomatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp Bragg Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp sweet & smokey paprika
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 15 oz cans butter beans(lima beans) drained and rinsed
  • 2 15 oz cans whole peeled tomatoes
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 large handfuls fresh spinach rinsed well and towel dried-roughly chopped

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oil over medium heat in a large saucepan.
  • Add the onions and cook 3-5 minutes until translucent but not browned. 
  • Add the garlic, paprika and bay leaves and cook for another minute.
  • Add the tomatoes and break them up a bit.
  • Add the beans and season with salt and pepper.
  • Stir well, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the spinach. Cover for 5 minutes, to just wilt the spinach.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and enjoy!
