Reverse Your Fatty Liver Quinoa Hemp Date Energy Balls

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup quinoa, dry
  • 1/2 cup hemp hearts
  • 2 cups dried dates, pitted
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 12 oz Lily's All Natural Dark Chocolate Chips – 45% Cacao
  • 1 tsp Omica Organics Organic Liquid Stevia – Plain
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the dried dates and almond milk.
  • Allow the dates to soak for 1 hour at room temperature.
  • Cook the quinoa in a medium cooking pot according to directions.
  • Store cooked quinoa in the refrigerator while preparing the rest of the recipe.
  • Using a blender, puree the soaked quinoa and mix together with large mixing spoon.
  • In a separate large mixing bowl melt the chocolate chips in the microwave. Heat for 40 seconds at a time to prevent burning.
  • Add the quinoa dates mixture and melted chocolate and hemp hearts and stir vigorously with a large spoon until thoroughly combined.
  • Store the mixture in the refrigerator to allow it to thicken. 3 hours max
  • Separate into 10 portions and manually roll them into balls or bites.
  • Store on a tray lined with wax paper or parchment paper.
