Having the right tools in your kitchen can make preparing meals MUCH easier.
Here is a list of our favorite tools for a plant-based kitchen.
- Mandolin & Spiralizer – Let’s be honest, you’re going to be eating A LOT of veggies so that means there will be A LOT of chopping/slicing/dicing in your future. Perhaps even as much as 3x a day, 5 if you count snacks! With a mandolin you get a veggie slicer, cutter and julienner all in one – and our favorite comes with it’s own spiralizer. Check out our favorite Mandoline & Spiralizer.
- High-Speed Blender – If you’re starting your day with a smoothie, having a high-speed blender is going to help you get the job done much faster. If you find yourself making soups or sauces you’ll be using it more than once a day. Check out our favorite High-Speed Blender . We also highly recommend a Vitamix if your budget allows.
- Food Processor – Wait! We just told you to get a high-speed blender why would you need a food processor too? Blenders usually blend things into a liquid but a food processor breaks things down and combines them without liquidizing them. We use it when making pesto or protein balls or veggie burgers. Here’s the food processor we recommend.
- Instant Pot – It’s a pressure cooker, rice cooker, slow cooker, etc all in one! You can use it for making soups, rice, beans – just set it and forget it until the timer goes off. Here’s our favorite Instant Pot.
- Air Fryer – Have you ever thought that ANYTHING tastes better when fried? With an air fryer you can use 75% less oil and still get that crisp taste you’re looking for. We use it daily for brussel sprouts & potatoes. This is our favorite air fryer because it also serves as a dehydrator and indoor electric grill.
